At Hindustan Drone Services (HDSL), we are committed to delivering reliable, safe, and professional drone-based agricultural and aerial services. Due to the operational, logistical, environmental, and regulatory nature of drone operations, all bookings and payments are subject to the following Refund Policy.
By booking or using HDSL services, the customer agrees to the terms outlined below.
1. Scope of Policy
This Refund Policy applies to all services provided by HDSL, including but not limited to:
- Agricultural drone spraying
- Agricultural spreading services
- Drone pilot services
- Mapping and surveying services
- Inspection services
- Aerial monitoring services
- Related agri-tech and drone operations
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds shall only be considered under the following condition:
The customer has successfully completed payment to HDSL; and The booked service was not delivered at all by HDSL.
Refund eligibility shall be determined solely by HDSL after reviewing operational records, service logs, scheduling records, and communication history.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds shall not be applicable in the following situations, including but not limited to:
Service & Operational Conditions
- Partially completed services
- Services substantially performed or initiated
- Multiple field visits already undertaken
- Customer dissatisfaction without operational failure by HDSL
Customer-Initiated Issues
- Customer cancellations after service scheduling or dispatch
- Incorrect land/location information provided by the customer
- Incorrect crop or chemical information
- Customer unavailability during scheduled operations
- Failure by customer to obtain required local permissions or access
Weather & Environmental Factors
- Rain
- Wind conditions
- Low visibility
- Unsafe flying conditions
- Environmental restrictions affecting drone operations
Regulatory & External Factors
- Government restrictions
- DGCA or aviation restrictions
- Local authority restrictions
- No-fly zone limitations
- Power/network outages
- External disruptions beyond reasonable control
Technical & Safety Conditions
- Safety-related interruptions
- Drone maintenance requirements
- Equipment calibration requirements
- Battery or operational safety limitations
4. Rescheduling Policy
HDSL reserves the right to reschedule services due to operational, environmental, safety, regulatory, or technical reasons, including but not limited to:
- Adverse weather conditions
- Drone safety concerns
- Equipment maintenance
- Pilot availability
- Airspace restrictions
- Regulatory directives
- Field accessibility issues
Rescheduled services shall not qualify for refunds.
HDSL will make reasonable efforts to coordinate revised schedules with customers.
5. Customer Cancellation Policy
Customers must provide advance written or app-based cancellation notice prior to scheduled service execution.
The following may apply:
- Cancellations after scheduling confirmation may incur operational or administrative charges
- Last-minute cancellations may become partially refundable or fully non-refundable
- Cancellations after pilot dispatch or operational preparation may not qualify for refunds
HDSL reserves the right to determine applicable cancellation charges based on operational costs already incurred.
6. Refund Review & Approval
All refund requests are subject to internal review and approval by HDSL.
Customers may be required to provide:
- Order details
- Payment proof
- Relevant communication records
- Supporting documentation
Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.
HDSL reserves the right to reject refund requests that:
- Violate this policy
- Contain inaccurate information
- Involve misuse of services
- Arise from factors outside HDSL’s reasonable control
7. Refund Processing Timeline
Approved refunds shall be processed only through the original payment method used for the transaction.
Estimated refund timelines:
- 7 to 15 business days from approval date
Actual timelines may vary depending on:
- Banking systems
- Payment gateways
- Financial institutions
- Regulatory processes
HDSL shall not be responsible for delays caused by third-party payment providers or banking institutions.
8. Limitation of Liability
HDSL provides drone services based on operational feasibility, environmental conditions, available information, and customer-provided inputs.
HDSL shall not be liable for:
- Crop outcomes or yield variations
- Agricultural losses
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Delays caused by weather or regulatory conditions
- Chemical effectiveness or compatibility issues
- External operational disruptions
- Customer-provided inaccuracies
- Business interruption losses
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- Accurate information submission
- Proper field access
- Chemical suitability
- Compliance with applicable agricultural practices
9. Right to Refuse Service or Refund
HDSL reserves the right to:
- Refuse service requests
- Decline refund requests
- Suspend or cancel bookings
- Modify operational schedules
where necessary for:
- Safety
- Regulatory compliance
- Operational feasibility
- Fraud prevention
- Policy violations
10. Policy Updates
HDSL reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.
Updated versions shall become effective upon publication on official HDSL platforms, applications, or websites.
